It is strongly recommended by both Ford and Volkswagen to use a reinforcement kit mounted under the bed if you install anything weighing more than 35 kg on the bed edge. This kit has part number AER22038300312 and can be found under the “Accessories” tab.

A roof rack is available as an optional accessory, allowing you to carry bikes, tents, surfboards, and other recreational gear on top of the cover.

Note: No bed cover will ever be 100% watertight, as some water may enter through the tailgate while driving. It is recommended to install this together with the tailgate sealing strip, available under the “Accessories” tab.
